HRT450, HRT600 - Brake Bleed Instructions

This procedure tells you how to bleed the hydraulic brake system.

Set the fluid reservoir regulator [1] to 0.

Set the brake regulator [2] to 160 psi (11 bar).

Loosen the fill plug [3] for hydraulic fluid. Do not remove the plug.

Operate the brake solenoid. Air and fluid leak from the fill plug.

When no more bubbles [4] come out of the fill-plug port, tighten the fill plug.

Set the brake regulator [2] to 80 psi (5.5 bar).

Set the fluid reservoir regulator [1] to 70 psi (4.8 bar).

If the system is correctly bled, the main pressure gauge [5] shows these values:

  • 0 psi (0 bar) when unclamped
  • 1000 psi (69 bar) when clamped

Make sure the fluid reservoir is full.

Machine Compatibility

Do this procedure on HRT450 and HRT600 rotary tables.
