Next Generation Control - Backup Programs

Do this procedure to backup the program files on your machine. To backup all of the machine data files, refer to the Next Generation Control - Backup Machine procedure.

You must have a USB or floppy drive on the side of the control pendant or in the electrical cabinet to do this procedure.

Prerequisites

You must have a USB drive on the side of the control pendant to do this procedure.

Tools Required

USB memory device

Step 1

Push POWER ON.
Push CANCEL.
Push LIST PROG.

Select the MEMORY tab [1].

Push ENTER.
Push F3.

Use the UP and DOWN cursor keys to highlight ALL [2].

Push ENTER.

Step 2

Push F2 [2].

Select the device. This example uses USB0 [1].

Press ENTER.

The backup file is saved on the USB memory device.

note: If you have the same name file on the USB memory device, the screen will display a message that asks if you want to overwrite the file.

Be aware: Many service and repair procedures should be done only by authorized personnel. The service technicians at your Haas Factory Outlet (HFO) have the training, experience, and are certified to do these tasks safely and correctly. You should not do machine repair or service procedures unless you are qualified and knowledgeable about the processes.

Danger: Some service procedures can be dangerous or life-threatening. DO NOT attempt a procedure that you do not completely understand. Contact your Haas Factory Outlet (HFO) and schedule a service technician visit if you have any doubts about doing a procedure.
