G90 and G91 specify the way that the control interprets axis positions.

When you give an axis position with a G90 command, the axes move to the given position relative to the origin of the coordinate system currently in use.

When you give an axis position with a G91 command, the axes move to the given position relative to the current axis position. G91 is not compatible with G143 (5-Axis Tool Length Compensation).

Refer to Absolute vs. Incremental Positioning (G90, G91) for more information.
